What we need is basically:
200 ml water
50 grams of brown sugar,
1 gram of yeast (yeast bread, found in any supermarket) and a 2-liter plastic bottle. [...]

How to:
One. Cut the plastic bottle (PET type) in half. Storing the neck portion:
2nd. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
3rd. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide.
4th. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle.
5th. Wrap the bottle with something black, minus the top, and put in some corner of your house.

In two weeks you will see the amount of mosquitoes and mosquitoes who died inside the bottle.

In addition to cleaning their homes, breeding sites of mosquitoes, we can use this method very useful in: Schools, Nurseries, Hospitals, homes, ranches, farms, nurseries. etc. Do not forget Dengue in the coming months: this mosquito can kill a person! from salve o planeta (spanish).

Note:  More important is Prevention is better than Cure..this is just some of the mosquito traps that we can make on our own but the most important is to clean up our surroundings inside and out of our home whether it is Summer or Rainy season. This is not a guarantee that it will protect you to dengue mosquito but it can minimize the chance;
 My eldest son got Dengue but my youngest son did not had it during the outbreak in our community and they went to the same school they say it probably because my youngest has stronger immune system back then 5 years ago. I do not know where he got it at home or at school, Very difficult when he was confined although I monitor his temperature and had brought him to his doctor right away and was advised for confinement immeditely. Just shared my experience hope this could help.
